3-2 VOR/DME Equipment

The active NAV1 window displays the active VOR1/DME frequency.

The standby NAV1 window displays the active VOR1/DME frequency.

3.
The NAV1 ident switch toggles the NAV1 ident morse code on/off.

4.
The frequency swap switch swaps the standby NAV1 frequency into the active window and vice versa.


The same applies to the NAV 2 radio.

5.
When the marker switch is pressed, a sound is played while passing the markers (OM/MM/IM) on approach.

6.
The DME switch toggles the morse ident of DME signals.

The DME distance windows indicate the distance to the VOR1 and VOR2 stations in the associated DME1 and DME2 windows.

The compass rose indicates the aircraft's heading.

3.
The VOR2 arrow points to the VOR station, selected in the NAV2 radio.

4.
The VOR1 arrow points to the VOR station, selected in the NAV1 radio.
